ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES

My experience learning English at university has been enjoyable, because personally I enjoy learning languages and have had nice teachers most of the time, however, I hoped they would provide me with more tools to understand the texts that I read in english for many subjects, because in Physical Anthropology we read a lot in english, for the reason that bibliography in spanish is limited and not too good.

I consider that the blogging experience is good to the extent that it keeps us constantly practicing writing, however, speaking is also very important, I'd like to have had more practical spaces. I need to improve my vocabulary and speaking, I've a lot of accent and although I like that, sometimes that may not allow me to understand me correctly. One of the best ways to improve speaking is by traveling, since when communication occurs spontaneously, I personally think that is going to be more internalized.

As i said before, we have to read a lot in english in Physical Anthropology, so I use what I know and have learned in class to understand the texts, although it takes me too long sometimes and that frustrates me a bit. Also, I see a lot of memes in english haha, and sometimes I also wish I had a better level to understand them all :(
